Just like last year, we've tapped a handful of reputable fashion friends to weigh in on 2013's greatest hits (and misses). Below, find their best purchases of the year.
Claire Mazur, Of a Kind: Loeffler Randall shoes. Lots of them. Never regret it. Always worth the investment.
Olivia Wolfe, American Two Shot: BLK DNM Jeans 4 in Platt Black. They're coated to look like leather and I wear them more often than not.
Nicolette Mason, blogger: An engagement band for my girlfriend from Anna Sheffield.
Jamie Shupak, NY1 Traffic Anchor: My vintage white cowboy boots I bought when I was in Austin last spring. I think they were only $40 and I wear them almost every single day. They're super comfortable and even though a lot of people disagree, I think they go with everything.
Connie Wang, Style Director, Refinery29: White Milano Birkenstocks from Amazon. The style with the backstrap had to be ordered special from a third-party German website and took six weeks to arrive…but it was so worth it.
Izzy Grinspan, Racked Editorial Director: When I was nine months pregnant, I met a cool mom on the subway who was wearing a pair of Loeffler Randall checkerboard oxfords. She made me feel like it was possible to have kids in New York City and not go insane, so when I saw the same shoes on sale a couple months later, I snapped them up as a sort of talisman. So far, they seem to be working.
Briana Swords, Swords-Smith: Risto cashmere silk blend hand-knit sweater, I am wearing it to death this winter.
Robin Zendell, RZ Real Estate Advisory: A Fendi Peek-a-Boo Bag (it holds everything) and a Laduree recipe book—I'll use it forever.
