Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
E-commerce site Zady is seeing every other retailer's last-minute delivery stunts and raising them a million. Orders placed on the site between noon today and noon tomorrow will be messengered by employees dressed as Santas on Vespas. The deliveries will arrive in select areas in Brooklyn and Manhattan on Christmas Eve, between 8am to 4pm. Santas will be riding the new premium Vespa 946, otherwise known for this occasion as "reindeer sleighs."
Already traveling? If you find yourself at La Guardia airport, check out their pop-up shop at the Delta Terminal, open through January 4th and stocked with great picks from Pendleton, Clare Vivier, and more.
