It might be Cyber Monday, but there are plenty of physical sample sales to shop, including the R13 and Haute Hippie joint sample sale at Clothingline. Most R13 merchandise is $50 to $175, with one leather jacket for $400. In comparison, the Haute Hippie sale, which shares the same space, was a bit pricier, with most merchandise between $100 and $300.

The R13 jeans for only $60 include a huge range of sizes, styles, and washes. Everything from skinny jeans with leather waistbands to x-over styles in black, white, and blue denim are available, as well as boyfriend skinnies and drop-crotch styles in dark denim. Cut off jean shorts in distressed blue denim and white are $75. Most of the jeans and shorts are folded nicely on the table and organized by size, making it easy to navigate the sale. If you don't see your size, ask the sales people for help, as there's some overstock.

Leathers include black and metallic silver shorts for $150, a distressed white vest for $100, and a classic black moto jacket for $400. The leather and denim chaps are marked down from $795 to $175, making them the best deal at the sale and very popular in the dressing room.

Black denim jackets in slim and oversized silhouettes are $60, while the denim jackets with pony insets on the back are $100. We spotted one oversized denim jacket with a shearling collar and a handful of denim shirts with cropped sleeves for $75. Knit tops are only $50 and include retro band inspired graphic baseball tees and white french terry slouchy tees and hoodies.

On the other side of the floor is the Haute Hippie sale, and it has enough sparkles to decorate the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. If you're looking for a little shine to wear this holiday season, this is the place to shop—but get ready to spend some money.

Racks of long beaded dresses and embellished kaftans fit for a New Year's Eve party on the beach are $300, while the long chiffon day dresses and beaded mini skirts are $195. Fully beaded chiffon tops in ethereal nude or graphic black and white are $145, and sequin pants are $295. We spotted a black tuxedo jacket with an embellished collar for $285 that could be worn more casually.

A small table of sweaters are marked $175 and include chunky knit ponchos and cardigans, without embellishment. Other unadorned pieces included denim shirts and shorts overalls, flirty chiffon dresses ($145) in bold colors, cold shoulder blouses for $140, and silk printed pants for $115. There are two racks of actual samples marked with white tags which meant their prices were slightly lower, but once we saw the blanket stripe poncho on this rack, we knew why.

The sale runs from today through Thursday, from 11am—7pm. See the dealfeed below and the gallery above for more photos.—Christina DeSmet
