Earlier this year, the BOFFO Building Fashion Project gave us a dark and creepy look into the world of Michael Bastian. For its next installation, they're taking us to a beach full of light and stone courtesy of Linda Farrow and design team Neiheiser & Valle.
They explain: "Eyewear mediates our vision and moderates our intake of light, but it also has the power to transform and transport." Neiheiser & Valle played off those ideas using mirrors, marble, and fifty tons of stone to turn a shipping container into an elaborate showroom.
The shop offers a selection of men's and women's eyewear from the Linda Farrow collection and designer collaborations with Dries Van Noten, Jeremy Scott, Oscar de la Renta, The Row, and Prabal Gurung. The new spring/summer 2014 collaboration collections with Suno and 3.1 Phillip Lim are also on hand.
If you happen to see a style you like but might want it in a different color, they have stock right next door, so all you have to do is ask. Besides the eyewear, the shop also includes pieces from the Linda Farrow ten-year anniversary capsule collection, including jewelry by Mawi, lingerie by Agent Provocateur, a shoe collab with Nicholas Kirkwood, and Linda Farrow's first handbag.
Eyewear prices range from $295 to $1,195 for gold plated and snakeskin styles. The shop will be open until Christmas Eve and hours are Monday through Saturday from 12pm to 7pm and Sundays from 12pm to 6pm.
