Westside Market has a handful of nifty tech features in the works for its upcoming East Village location. Most importantly, there will be wifi (have you ever gotten stuck in the bread section of Trader Joe's on 14th Street? Good luck surfing anything at that point: the web, the line).
Other features of the new store will include technology that will aid in speedier checkout counters, as well as an advanced security system. The store is also developing an app for customers to learn about products sold at the store.
