The giant Whole Foods store headed for Gowanus finally has an opening date. The store will debut Tuesday, December 17th, marking the grocer's first location in the borough of Brooklyn. Inside, shoppers will find "an unmatched selection of local products from many of Brooklyn's most noted artisanal producers," including exclusive products across the store. There will also be in-store takeout from ramen chef Yuji Hariguchi.
Outside, the store flaunts an enormous Gotham Greens-run rooftop farm and a second-level indoor/outdoor taproom and restaurant called The Roof.
