The News Showroom opened last evening for a preview of their sample sale and we're pleased to report that the $10 denim bins the sale is famous for haven't gone anywhere. The sale opens tomorrow, Thursday, November 14th, to the public.
Throughout the sale, guys and girls can shop 6397, Anniel, Cheap Monday, Clu, Common Projects, DestIn, Folk, Highland, Officine Generale, White Mountain Engineering, Sacai and Tim Coppens in a huge variety of sizes. They'll be restocking throughout, so this one is worth a visit or two.
For the ladies there's Cheap Monday denim in sizes 24 through 29 priced at $10 and $30. There are also Cheap Monday dresses for $30, sweaters for $30, and studded sweatshirts for $40. Clu offers tees for $30, dresses for $50, and faux fur pullovers for $60. In the Sacai sectionthere are silk jumpsuits for $250, lace detail sweaters for $328, and winter coats for $342. 6397 offered up pants for $50 and comfy sweatshirt dresses for $50 to $75.
Ladies footwear includes sizes 6 through 10 in the form of Cheap Mondays styles starting at $30, Anniel flats and boots for $30 to 40, and a plethora of Common Projects in various styles for $125 to $225. Accessories for the girls include scarves, hats, belts and bags going for $10 to $30, with one standout being Indigofera's wool pattern blankets priced at $125.
Guys can grab Cheap Monday denim in sizes 30 through 36 again for $10 and $30. Continuing on through the Cheap Monday goods you'll find sweatshirts for $35, jean jackets at $50, and bomber jackets going for $70. In the Highland area there are sweatshirts for $25, sweaters starting at $30, lightweight jackets for $60 and heavyweight jackets at $80. There's a large selection of Tim Coppens offerings mostly priced over $100. They included leather detailed sweatshirts for $150 and lightweight jackets starting at $350. Officine Generale had a great selection of outerwear starting around $150.
Men's shoes are available in sizes 8 through 13, including White Mountain Engineering X Saucony collabs for $50, Florsheim laces ups for $60, Folk suede dressy and casual options for $125 to $175, and a slew of Common Projects styles for $175 to $225. In men's accessories there are belts, hats and gloves for $10 to $30. Guys' bag offerings include Black Point Mercantile totes for $175 and Tim Coppens leather bags for $300.
Everything is priced as marked and is final sale. Cash and credit are both accepted and there is a coat and bag check. A unisex fitting area with a large mirror is shared, so plan your undergarments appropriately.—Mickey Sery
