Valley was a place to see and be seen last night—for tiny Tribeca trick-or-treaters. Moms accompanying the parade of princesses, cowboys, and superheroes paused to assess the new shop: Doma leather jackets, Iro knits, and Porter Grey dresses among the options well suited to the ladies of the notoriously stylish neighborhood.

Co-owner Jackie Brookstein, holding a mixing bowl brimming with Jolly Ranchers and Hershey Kisses, commented that handing out candy for Halloween was probably the best promotional move the new store has made thus far, if accidental. Brookstein comes from Intermix, and it shows: Valley's selection spans the wardrobe from jewelry to tees to party pieces, everything easy to wear without skimping on style.
