Sephora Brooklyn looks like a Sephora but, you know, in Brooklyn.
Sephora entered Brooklyn today with the opening of an 8,000 square foot store at 210 Joralemon Street. Store reps informed us that the first person in line for the opening arrived at 1am (the store opened at, um, 8am). Truth be told, the store isn't a whole lot different from most other Sephoras (isn't consistency kind of the beauty of Sephora?), though the massive square footage does make room for niche brands like OCC and Armani.
Opening weekend festivities continue though 8pm tonight, with snacks, sips, a photo booth, and a DJ in the store. The shop opens at 9am tomorrow, again giving away mystery gift cards valued from $10 to $1,000 to the first 100 customers. Saturday's events also include a Color Palette Exploration session lead by Katherine Bernhardt from 11am to 3pm, followed by a Beauty Collage event from 4pm to 8pm hosted by artist Hisham Bharoocha.
