Thanks to an article in this morning's WWD, we now know what the COS on Spring Street will look like when it opens in the spring of 2014. As for the layout: "With three levels for selling, the Soho store, which looks like a town house, has a wood and brick facade. Like the clothes, the decor will marry traditional and modern influences." Oh, and it's totally haunted.
The H&M-owned brand specializes in clean, basic, structured separates for men and women, and also has a children's line, as well as footwear and accessories. Cos first arrived in New York earlier this month at a pop-up shop at Opening Ceremony on Howard Street.
Even better news: the Soho store will definitely not be the company's only location. Marie Honda, the brand's head of business, says, "We would like to have [stores] everywhere from the Meatpacking District to Madison Avenue." She's quick to note though that it won't happen immediately, adding that "the organic development will stay with us for a couple of years."
