Earlier this month, the Brooklyn Flea signed a lease for an indoor space in Williamsburg at 185 Wythe Avenue. The new spot, which will span the second floor of the block-long building, will actually replace the former indoor location at Skylight One Hanson in Fort Greene. The indoor Williamsburg market will open "almost immediately" after the outdoor incarnation closes on the weekend of November 24th.
The Flea's founders explained that the One Hanson location was "stretched at 100 vendors," but the new spot "can accommodate a proper Flea-Smorg with 175 vendors, including three to four times more food vendors than Hanson."
