Handbag and accessory designer Clare Vivier has opened her first store in Manhattan at 239 Elizabeth Street, in close proximity to newcomer Figue and Love, Adorned. The boutique displays Vivier's signature foldover clutches and totes along the walls with Chateau Marmont and Le Feu de l'Eau candles, with wallets and small leather goods arranged on center displays with books and miscellaneous accessories from a few outside brands.
A jewelry case in the back of the shop holds pieces from Annie Costello Brown, Grace Lee, and Maya Brenner, and hats by Reinhard Plank are scattered throughout. Bonus: anyone looking to have their new bags monogrammed can do so in-store with a quick turnaround time.
