Luggage and accessory brand Tumi is opening a new flagship today at 610 Madison Avenue, while simultaneously debuting a new look. The store's designer (who was also behind Yigal Azrouël's uptown store and sister brand Cut25's Soho space) explains that Tumi stores from here on out will include lighter-colored wooden furniture to contrast against the dark color schemes of the merchandise. Monogramming has also been brought out of the backroom and "to the consumer."
