Martha Stewart visiting Story.
Ever-evolving storefront Story has elected to extend its Made in America run through the end of October. They've also added a number of new vendors with the help of BRIKA, an online marketplace for craftsmanship, and the American Design Club, which gives emerging designers a platform. Also added to the mix is Outpost Journal, which sheds a light on the creative happenings in smaller cities.
The new partnerships mean fresh goods in the space, including pottery made in the Hudson Valley, The Falcon Soaperie's Queens-made bath products, metal jewelry from Upper Metal Class, and organic men's grooming products by Brooklyn Grooming. In its final week, Story will celebrate the winning submissions of American Design Club's Hometown Homage contest, which was produced in collaboration with Outpost Journal. The winning objects—inspired by designers hometowns—will be on display starting tomorrow and running through Friday, October 25th.
