There was no line at the Rent the Runway sample sale around lunchtime today, which is usually a sign that all the good stuff has been picked over. However, if you dig carefully, there's still plenty to find.
Most of the racks are still packed with dresses, and you can still snag Hervé Léger bandage dresses in different colors and sizes, but the selection has depleted since yesterday. A metallic striped bandage dress retailing at $2,150 is $692, while the single color dresses are between $300 to $400.
A lace Jade Serenity gown from Reem Acra is $600, though the lace is torn. Some worthy dresses under or close to the $100 price mark are still around, including an elegant, sexy cobalt lace draped gown by BCBGMaxAzria (with no visible defects) for $104.
A Parker pleated maxi dress is $74, a Badgley Mischka black and white sequin dress is also $74, and a Robert Rodriguez Black Label bicolor twist gown is $126. Other, inexpensive highlights are the BCBGMaxAzria "School Girl Gone Bad" dress (their words) for $59, and a Mark & James by Badgley Mischka "Tie-Back Rose Garden Shift" dress for $50.
In the accessories section, the same damaged clutches from yesterday are still available, more or less. You'll find a pink ostrich print minaudiere (scuff included) by Rebecca Minkoff for $72 and Kate Spade clutches for under $100. Baubles—necklaces, bangles and earrings—are also available. When we were there, there was one pair of Yosi Samra flats for $30 and one lone Commando thong.—Hsini
