New York City has more stores than anyone could physically tackle, but somehow we always keep returning to the usual suspects. To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems—those unique stores around our fantastic city that we might not all know about. Cue the Beatles: We're about to get a little help from our friends.

Nathan Romano is the co-founder of Onia, a line of high-end swimwear that prides itself on functionality and fit. The brand's styles come in solids, prints, and patterns, and they've managed to develop a cult-like following due to their flattering nature. Here, Nathan points us to his favorite spot in Montauk?which also happens to be a stones throw from the beach.

* share with... is a secret hideaway shop for local surfers and conscious New York trend shoppers, and it's a great place to find cool new, up-and-coming brands. You can find things from unusual accessories to some of the best kind of beachwear. I'm always shopping at premium shops here in the city, so it's refreshing to shop at local store like this one. The bonus about this place is it's literally two blocks from the beach, so it's an easy place to get your last minute beach necessities. I always find the coolest up and coming brands out at that store. The store is at the very tip of Montauk—but, it's certainly a destination that can not be missed.
