Onward Holdings, the company that owns Jil Sander, ICB, and Joseph, J. Press is spreading its wings in Flatiron, though not with any of the above-mentioned brands. Instead, the company has just opened two side-by-side new stores on East 20th Street: the first of which is Chacott by Freed of London, and the second, Hannari & MG.
And they both couldn't be more different. WWD writes that Chacott by Freed of London specializes in dance and ballet apparel, but also carries a skin-care line and a yogawear collection. Hannari & MG, on the other hand, sells pet goods and children's education items. Unfortunately, the article doesn't hint at any upcoming ICB stores, though we can expect to see more of the Prabal Gurung-designed label soon: The article adds that the label is exclusive to Barneys through pre-fall 2013, but after that, it'll arrive at other retailers.
