Next week, travel back in time to world when whiskey and custom suits ruled the world at the free "Gentlemen's Evening" event at the Mercedes Club on West 54th Street. The soiree will include a complimentary style consultation by Astaire Bespoke, which just so happens to be the Soho-based, handmade clothing line that works with Boardwalk Empire's costumer.
Shaves, shoe shines, and clean-ups will also be offered by Truman's Gentleman Groomers, and fabric experts Dormeuil Cloth will offer a talk on tweed. And most importantly, Finger Laks Distilling will handle the whiskey tasting. The party starts at 6pm, though whether or not you think it'd be more gentlemanly to show up fashionably late is up to you. RSVP here to attend.
