Ever think to yourself, "I love mani-pedis, and wish I could get one while my BFF simultaneously gets a facial"? Good news: Savor Spa in the West Village is all about group appointments. The small but surprisingly open space holds up to eight, so three to four of your friends can get treatments while the others hang out and drink champagne.
But even though the spa is new, the store isn't. Savor Spa is located inside the Om Aroma boutique, where owner Angela Jia Kim, a former concert pianist, sells her line of skincare products. After the store opened, she began offering the occasional one-off facial to clients, and the reception was positive. Now, the space has been refurbished, expanded, and ready for any customer who wants to try microdermabrasion, get a massage, or have a professional do their makeup. Also new to the lineup: custom products mixed for you in-store, based on your individual skincare needs.
