Slightly ahead of schedule, the California-based denim brand Civilianaire is ready to open its new Nolita shop at 55 East Houston Street. The store will be the company's first outside the confines of the West Coast, and most likely, not its last.
Bowery Boogie reports: "We are now amidst the final push to official launch. Display cases, lighting fixtures, mannequins, and some product arrived earlier this week." However, not everyone's happy about the new addition. The article adds that when the former tenant, La Cocina Deli, closed, people were pissed.
