The Las-Vegas based chain Bettie Page Clothing has just opened its first Manhattan location at 303 Bowery, where it sells exactly what you think it does: sailor dresses, high-waisted pin-up shorts, and the like. (And according to the website, they also carry children's clothing, for moms who want to groom an appreciation of all things retro in their offspring.)

Jeremiah's Vanishing New York recently spoke with the owner of the Second Avenue rockabilly shop Enz's, which has been in New York City since the early '70s. When asked about her new neighbor, store owner Mariann Marlowe said, "My customers refer to the Bettie Page store as the pin-up Forever 21."
