What $350 Will Get You at the Pixie Market, Otte, and Acne Sales

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Welcome to Shopping Cart Comparisons, a column borrowed from our sister site that investigates how far a budget will stretch at three different stores on any given week. In the spirit of friendly competition, we're checking out the end-of-season sales at Pixie Market, Otte, and Acne with a limit of $350. See what that gets you below.

Knitwear made up two-thirds of our favorite finds at Pixie Market, like the Ganni Ice Blue Angora Cardigan for $104 (middle), and the Rodebjer Cowl Neck Sweater for $109 (right). For dressier days, there's the Two-Tone Beige Long Blazer for $124 (left).

$350 won't stretch that far at Otte's sale, since a lot of the higher-end pieces are still a bit pricey. However, we did find two great tops and one dress: a Kelly Wearstler Grunge Marble Shirt for $82.50, an Attic and Burn Ruffle Front Dress, $89, and a NSF Cooper Sweater, $161. If you're looking for basics, like cashmere tanks and tees, the sale's worth the trip, as those are all marked down considerably lower.

At Acne, we went slightly over budget—happens. But, we did find three easy staples: the Femme Moss Green Top for $156, the Kex Wet Black Jeans for $120, and the Trix Woolrib Dress for $102.
