This afternoon, one of our commenters pointed out that there's a large construction facade plastered in Saint Laurent signage at 541 West 22nd Street between Tenth and Eleventh Avenues. Our first guess was that it was just paid advertising on behalf of the brand, but we headed on over to scope out the scene ourselves—just in case Hedi Slimane is planning two open two new stores this year.
Unfortunately, when we showed up we were told that the signage was for the "temporary private showcase of the fall collection for buyers." Maybe next time.
