Now that we've covered this month's pertinent cupcake news, it's time to move onto macarons. WWD reports that Alber Elbaz has teamed up with Ladurée on a box of eight macarons. If the confections are already sugary enough for your palette, be prepared—these will be bubblegum flavored.
They'll make their debut in a custom-designed box in France on September 25th, and will arrive in the U.S. on September 28th. The macarons aren't the only thing Ladurée is bringing to New York City this fall: The tea salon recently announced that it will open its first Soho location sometime this season.
