This week, Jon Caramanica took a trip to the new Christian Louboutin men's store in the Meatpacking District. While there, he found footwear suitable for everyone from Rick Ross to the cast of Hackers to someone attending a "Mardi Gras formal." One pair of black slippers, hand-embroidered "in a pattern resembling a Japanese prison tattoo," even sparked this comment: "I felt as if I should be ordering hits on midlevel traffickers." [NYT]
