New, 48 comments

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

You've already weighed in on the year's best sample sale and best new shoe store, so now it's time to vote for the best new store overall. This year's candidates run the gamut from large corporate entities to little indie boutiques, from Céline on Madison Avenue to Cadet in Williamsburg.

Joe Fresh and Apple both opened inside midtown landmarks (510 Fifth Avenue and Grand Central Terminal, respectively) while online shopping destination Piperlime went brick-and-mortar in Soho. Local favorite Tucker found a home on West Broadway. And luxe multi-brand boutiques opened all over Manhattan: Fivestory launched on the Upper East Side, Maison Kitsuné debuted at 28th and Broadway, Owen staked out a space in the Meatpacking District, and Warm welcomed customers in Nolita.

Which one deserves the award? Let us know in the poll below.

Update: The poll is now closed.
