For the latest Critical Shopper, Alexandra Jacobs stopped by Proenza Schouler on Madison Avenue. She describes the decor as "kind of Star Trek," adding that many of the clothes "suggest something Lieutenant Uhura might don to seduce or confuse Captain Kirk into another clinch." If, that is, Uhura could afford a $3,850 neoprene-coated jacket on a lieutenant's salary. [NYT]
