September's a big month for foreign brands opening their first New York City boutiques. Following on the heels (literally!) of South America's Schutz and Scandinavia's Moods of Norway is Liebeskind Berlin, a German label specializing in leather bags, belts, footwear, and other accessories. They've signed a lease for 276 Lafayette Street, the former home of shoe store Irregular Choice, and they'll be launching this evening with plenty of promos.
Among the freebies and deals: Print this Facebook voucher, and you'll get 10% off. Find the Liebeskind street teams in Soho, and you'll get free tote bags, bracelets, and food and drink vouchers, not to mention more discounts. Stop by the store after 6pm, and you'll be able to buy the bag above for a special launch price of $199. There's also a raffle, a Facebook check-in contest, and the chance to partake in Berlin's own multicultural sausage delicacy, the street food known as curry wurst. Just try not to get any ketchup on the leather goods.
