Though the Saint Laurent store in Soho is probably still lightyears away from opening, WWD has just published a teaser of what it might look like. Technically, they ran photos of the store in Shanghai that opened last week, but it's the first Saint Laurent store under the direction and rebranding of Hedi Slimane, and thus, the model for the rest.
According to the article, a Berlin store will follow the Shanghai location, and from there the concept will continue to expand. President and CEO Paul Deneve explained: "The store concept has been completed, designed and perfected, and is ready for rollout. Very rapidly, we will see the overall store network evolve." Highlights of the layout include black and white marble, 1930s-style furniture with gold, silver, and mirrored glass, and concrete. Contrary to the above photos, there will also be, you know, clothing and accessories.
