After months of planning, C.Wonder's Time Warner Center flagship will open this weekend with a ton of fanfare. The festivities will start on Friday, when C. Wonder smart cars will drive around the Upper West Side passing out colorful fortune cookies, each corresponding to a prize that can be redeemed over the weekend.
But the real games will begin on Saturday and Sunday, when the store will turn into a grand carnival, complete with giant C. Wonder teddy bears, games, popcorn, and lemonade. If you'd rather snag a treat that's worth some cash, they'll be giving out gift cards to the first 300 customers in denominations of $5, $25 and $250.
In addition to that, anyone who spends over $20 will receive a free limited-edition tote, and one customer will win $1000 worth of merchandise courtesy of the Tower of Wonder Sweepstakes. To keep the energy up, a DJ will be on hand to spin what the pres release is describing as "old-school hits." Fingers crossed for some Spice Girls.
