The Rent the Runway sample sale is set to return on October 1st, so if you've never been good with goodbyes, here's your chance to own the website's collection of dresses and accessories, rather than just rent them. And of course, the bonus is that you can own them at a discount: up to 95% off.
The sale will run through the 6th at 260SampleSale, and will include retired and gently-used merchandise from Badgley Mischka, Catherine Malandrino, David Meister, Nicole Miller, Rebecca Taylor, and more. The yellow Rebecca Taylor dress above is $80 (from $335), the red Badgley Mischka gown is $150 (from $850), and the black lace Nicole Miller dress is $73 (from $400).
At the last sale in February, there was plenty of dresses hanging on the racks in a variety of sizes, and the term "gently used" didn't mean "worn to shreds." Our reporter confirmed that most of the items weren't stained or ripped, but if they were, they were small enough to ignore for such a hefty markdown.
