John Varvatos has teamed up with Chrysler on a sports car inspired by his collection. It costs upwards of $45,000, so it probably won't have too much of an impact on your shopping life—but it could well have an impact on your ability to walk down the Bowery, because the brand has commissioned artist Sharyn Chan Namnath to draw a 3D version of the car on the sidewalk outside of its East Village location. When we walked by the other day, the sketch had attracted quite a crowd, and Bowery Boogie reports lots of amateur photographers recording it for posterity.
