Since Nordstrom won't officially open in New York for another six or so years, the Seattle-based brand has to find new and clever ways to make its presence felt locally. For Fashion Week, they're pairing up with GQ on a men's pop-up shop inside Treasure & Bond in Soho. The store, which grew out of an integrated marketing program GQ has with Nordstrom, will carry big names like Ralph Lauren and Band of Outsiders alongside smaller companies like Hav-A-Hank handkerchiefs.
Rest assured, the beards-and-tattoos contingent will not be underserved. Reports WWD:
There will also be corners for Warby Parker eyeglasses, Dashwood books, an Other Music listening station, Stumptown Coffee bar and complimentary Freemans Sporting Club shaves. The pop-up launches on Fashion's Night Out with a VIP launch party that goes public around 9:30. After that, it will stick around through Sunday, September 16. Since Treasure & Bond is Nordstrom's charity concept store, all proceeds go to two local charities: the National Dance Institute and Girls Write Now.
