Yesterday's Proenza Schouler sale involved a minor logistical hiccup. Although the company initially announced that their sample sale would take place at 82 Mercer Street, they later changed it to 74 Mercer. Not a big deal—except that the hundred-some people waiting in line didn't find out about the change until about 25 minutes before the sale was about to start.
The announcement precipitated a mad dash down the block, and one videographer managed to catch it all on film. The moral of the story: If you're going to a popular sample sale, wear shoes you can run in. And maybe stretch out your quads, just in case.
