The wacky Scandinavians behind Moods of Norway are setting up shop at 75 Greene Street, according to the Commercial Observer. The company has been around for most of the past decade—or, as their website explains, "Moods of Norway has been doing the hibbedy-dibbedy on the international fashion dance floor for 6 years now." (See? Wacky.) They've got boutiques in L.A. and a few other American cities, but this will be their first New York location.
Up until recently, 75 Greene was occupied by casual, China-based label JNBY, but that shop closed after only two years. Moods of Norway will start selling its colorful wares in the space this September, kicking off with a big party on Fashion's Night Out. Want in? They've currently papered the city with ads featuring their hot-pink tractor logo, and if you post one to their Facebook page, you could win an invite.
