The American Apparel Warehouse Sale originally popped up on Sixth Avenue in December of last year, with plans to depart before the month was up. It extended its stay a few times, and now, it's decided to relocate to Soho. Yes, folks: 285 Lafayette Street is now the proud home of the American Apparel Factory Outlet. The new warehouse is composed of 7,000 square feet, which means there's plenty of room for cotton basics, leggings, and all sorts of shiny, spandex one-piece things.
Basic tees and tanks are priced from $10 to $12, and you'll find loads of multicolored mesh, nylon, and cotton leggings for $22. In addition to the standard items, there are also tons of samples and one-of-a-kind garments. And while perusing through the men's area, we found exceptionally soft zip-up hoodies and sweatshirts for $26 and tees for $12.
Everything inside is discounted up to 90% off, and new stock is added daily. If you RSVP to their Facebook event page, you'll receive sale updates and be the first to know when new style arrive. As a bonus tip, if you check in through Facebook you'll receive 10% off your purchase. Just make sure that lamé leotard fits you before you check out—all items are final sale.
