Intermix already has six stores in Manhattan, but it's possible there's a seventh in the works. According to one of Bowery Boogie's tipsters, the company recently signed a lease for a new store at 54 Bond Street. That address already has a tenant—Billy Reid.
A sales associate at Billy Reid told us they hadn't heard of any plans to relocate, and when we contacted Intermix's representatives, we were told they didn't have "any additional information at this time." The key words possibly being at this time. Either way, if it is happening it'll be a while. Bowery Boogie reports that "the ink is barely dry on the deal."
Update: Billy Reid's reps have confirmed to us that the store is staying in its location at 54 Bond Street, and that the location's landlord has not signed any deal with Intermix.
