Verameat's astronaut necklaces, bulldog rings, and seashell earrings are now available in Williamsburg. The store soft-opened this past Saturday at 132 N. 5th Street inside the Bedford Avenue mini-mall. Unlike the East Village location, which is strictly for jewelry, the Brooklyn space also carries menswear from new label Jack Henry—convenient for all those male customers who stop by to pick up presents for their ladyfriends.
The official launch is tomorrow, and owner Vera Balyura tells us she's planning a launch party with slushies, cotton candy, and wine ("red and white, possibly rosé.") Also, shop dog Fred will be dressed up for the occasion.
