Now that the Arleen Bowman Boutique on Bleecker Street has departed, there's not a single independent shop left on the street north of West 10th. And judging from the new storefront signage at 350 Bleecker, it looks like things are going to stay that way. The Shophound noticed that the vacant storefront is now a coming-soon ad for the Belgian luxury sportswear brand Sarah Pacini.
By the looks of its website, the brand should fit in quite well with New Yorkers, since just about every item in the fall/winter collection is black, gray, or dark purple. The store will be its first U.S. location, though there's no shortage of them overseas: In total, Sarah Pacini has 55 boutiques in total, two of which are in Canada. Make that 56, this fall.
