Now open for snips at the Ace Hotel is Rudy's, a West Coast-based chain with barbershops in Seattle, Portland, and Los Angeles. Given those locations and the fact that a Williamsburg outpost is on the way, New York Magazine unsurprisingly reports that the "retro barbershop" is filled with "oft-tattooed stylists, and that the soundtrack includes the Raveonettes and Rufus Wainwright.
In addition to just cutting heads, as their slogan reads, Rudy's will expand to include a retail destination on July 16th. That portion will carry books from Karma Bookstore, Krochet Kids knits, and RTH bags. As far as the cuts themselves go, it's $17 for a buzz-cut, $40 for short hair, and $60 for longer lengths.
