Alexander Wang's Soho Mannequins Are Covered in Black Hair

Alexander Wang's store in Soho has had its fair share of crazy props. That plush fur hammock has been there since opening day, and the indoor cage has been outfitted with baby's breath, LED lights, and even inflatable sea creatures. However, the newest addition has us a little confused, and quite frankly, a little scared.

Five mannequins at the entrance of the store are covered head to toe in long, silky-smooth black hair. Yep, hair. These tall, ominous creatures are hanging out in the cage surrounded by mirrors, so you're blessed with the ability to look at what seems like hundreds of them. And of course, they're all holding Alexander Wang handbags. An employee told us that the mannequins are just Wang's way of "trying something new," and that no, they're not for sale.—Tanya Loss
