Designer Dana Lorenz of Fenton/Fallon makes bold statement jewelry that's not for the faint of heart—or the empty of wallet. So we always get excited about the brand's sale, because it gives shoppers a chance to try out some louder styles without a major financial commitment. This time around, prices aren't quite as low as in previous years, but they're still slashed 40% to 90% off. Here's what you'll find today and tomorrow.
Pieces from both Fenton and Fallon are dispersed among a few tables. They're labeled accordingly, and everything is priced as marked. We saw a ton of Fenton, with necklaces that originally went for $500 to $1,500 now marked down to $50 to $100. On hangers, you'll find beaded bondage chokers and other statement necklaces going for $60 to $120. There are some great baroque pieces from fall 2011, as well as more iconic pieces like the reindeer antler cuff sprinkled with Swarovski crystals, now $80 to $90 (regularly $450). Baroque-inspired earrings will run you $40 to $60, and similarly, rings are $40.
As far as Fallon, you'll find studded and pearl combos in cuffs as well as matching dangly earrings (ranging from $50 to $80). They have more samples than ever for spring, so be on the look out for pieces in pastel colors, some of them adorned with large gems or cut in funky geometric shapes. There are also some lamb leather wrap bracelets in bright colors like magenta and emerald for $80.
Cash and credit are both accepted. The sale runs through 6pm on Friday, but we suggest stopping by today for the best selection, as the merch tends to fly off the tables.
