On Thursday night, Patricia Field hosted a party at her new boutique, which is just two storefronts away from her old one on Bowery. We're sure it was a good time for all, except when a glass case came crashing down in the middle of the store, landing on top of a mannequin. Immediately after, there was a moment where the possibility of it being a human was considered. According to a witness:
People were screaming at the sight of a mannequin underneath all of the glass, thinking it was a dead body. But it was really hard to tell the mannequins and the drag queens apart, because they were dressed so similarly.
Like very expensive dominoes, a second glass case fell shortly after. Let's just say you should probably keep your hands to yourself inside the new store, lest three become a trend.
