How many stores is enough stores on Madison Avenue? For luxury eyewear brand Robert Marc, that answer is five. Yes, five. This week, the brand opened its fifth location at Madison Avenue between 88th and 89th Streets, which is just ten blocks away from another location between 79th and 80th Streets. For the record, they're not all on the Upper East Side: two of them are below 57th Street.
But this location definitely is. According to the press release, "the new store concept reflects the Upper East Side neighborhood it resides in, the Robert Marc clientele's discerning taste, and the highly-tailored craftsmanship that the brand has become synonymous with." The boutique's Carrera tile floor, leather furnishings, and deep-stained walnut fixtures speak to that.
