Revolution Books on West 26th Street is in danger of closing, due to the usual culprit of such a scenario: rising rents. Jeremiah's Vanishing New York found out that the store needs to raise $40,000 to stay in business. That's a lot of cash, but consider what one tipster wrote in and you may be swayed: "I live next door and it is the only antidote to the frattiness of the neighborhood.
