If you've ever shopped or sold anything on The Cools, a self-proclaimed online social marketplace, then you're probably pretty familiar with their strategy of suggesting items especially picked for your taste. On Wednesday, that kind of curating will come to life at their first "Jamboree" at 233 Mott Street. According to a press release, the first installment of what will become a monthly pop-up will blend fashion, design, art, music, dancing, and food in a way that both an old world bazaar and the Colette Carnaval have done in the past.
The pop-up's vendors and participants are all billed as "curators," and they include Anna Sheffield, Erin Fetherston, What Goes Around Comes Around, and a ton more. The event runs from 6pm until midnight (on a school night, no less!), and admission is free. If you have yet to join the site and are looking for the perfect afternoon time-suck, you can do that right here.
