At last, Essie has announced that it'll be opening its first stand-alone salon on the Upper East Side. The space is tucked inside the Samuel Shriqui Salon on East 65th Street, and comes complete with leather loveseats that have been dyed to match some of the brand's most popular shades. Speaking of shades, the salon stocks close to 300 of them, which means your regular salon's Essie selection is going to look pretty rinky-dink from here on out.
Essie Weingarten, the line's founder and ultimate punmaster, told Vogue that the salon is "really an out-of-bottle experience." That experience isn't cheap, though—manicures start at $32 and pedicures start at $65—but you can request Weingarten's signature mani if you'd like: a coat of Blushing Bride, topped with a coat of Mademoiselle.
