Yesterday, Tavi Gevinson and Iris Apfel got together for a Met panel to discuss all-things style. Both ladies, who have a 74-year age gap between them, discussed their fashion days of yore. While Tavi talked about "trying to make a really bleak day in middle school more interesting" with her crazy outfits, Iris explained how she became "the first woman to wear jeans" in the 1940s.
