Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Earlier this week, Drybar announced that they'd be opening a location at 222 East 34th Street, and as it turns out, there's a second one in the works for 209 East 76th Street. Both spots are slated to open in early September, and we've been told that each will be quite large and filled with plenty of chairs. Which of course, means $40 blowouts for all.

Drybar already has one location in Midtown and another in Flatiron, and founder Alli Webb is open to more. She's very active on Twitter, and told us that after the Flatiron opening, Drybar enthusiasts tweeted at her to open one up in Murray Hill. As a former resident of the neighborhood and a fan of the "great knit of girls over there," she obliged.
