Welcome to Torso Watch, our annual countdown til the first day of summer—also known as the day Hollister's greeters take off their shirts.

Since the last time we checked, a lot has changed at Hollister in Soho. And by "a lot," we mean the greeters at the front of the store have finally taken off their shirts, officially marking the beginning of Summer 2012.

The Hollister hunk above told us that employees started going shirtless this past Saturday, June 9th. Today he's sporting red swim trunks and a matching whistle (for accessorizing purposes, of course, although we'd let him save us from high tide any day).—Tanya Loss
